Simon-Kucher opens offices in Chicago and Cairo
The global strategy and marketing consultancy increases US presence to six locations and expands its overall network to 36 offices in 24 countries on every continent.
CHICAGO – Global strategy and marketing consulting firm Simon-Kucher & Partners announced the opening of a new office in Chicago. Situated in the heart of The Loop, the new location at 30 South Wacker Drive will offer the firm’s services to enterprises throughout the greater metropolitan area and across the Midwest, with an initial focus on life sciences, consumer goods, information technology, and industrial products.
“Our success in recent years indicates expertise in pricing, marketing, and sales is enormously sought after in the US,” says Dr. Georg Tacke, CEO of Simon-Kucher & Partners. “Opening an office here is the next logical step to expanding our presence in the US consulting market. The Chicago location places us at the center of one of the world’s largest and most diversified economies situated at the gateway to the West.”

The Chicago office joins Atlanta, Boston, Mountain View, New York, and San Francisco as the firm’s sixth US location.
New office also opened in Cairo, Egypt
The opening of its new office in Cairo establishes Simon-Kucher & Partners' presence on the African continent. “We’ll be one of the few international strategy consultancies in Egypt. The market offers enormous potential. Egypt is one of the two strongest industrialized nations in Africa. Strong economic growth and excellently trained local specialists make the market particularly attractive to us. Geographically speaking, Egypt is an ideal starting point to enter the African market,” according to Dr. Tacke. “We’ll offer our services locally to all industries with an initial focus on financial services and the service industry.” Martin Janzen, Senior Director, and Sara Shenouda, Manager, will be overseeing the new Cairo location.
Simon-Kucher & Partners will continue its international expansion, with plans to open additional offices in Shanghai and Mexico this year.
